 Join genealogy and professor Dr. Margaret M. McMahon — the "hockey-playing genealogist" — to learn how to search for ancestors using Google and its tools. You will learn how to construct searches tailored to look for your ancestors on the web.

Dr. Margaret M. McMahon is known as the hockey-playing genealogist and also happens to have a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering. When her son was born, Dr. McMahon focused her educational skills and talents on her newfound passion to combine family stories with factual records. She is an advocate for the use of technology in genealogy. Dr. McMahon is also the author of “A Week of Genealogy”, “A Weekend of Genealogy” and “Researching Your U.S. WWI Army Ancestors”.
