Bill Glose, nationally published author, combat veteran and Yorktown resident, will present an author talk and book signing featuring his novel-like collection of linked short stories, All the Ruined Men: Stories. The book centers on a US Army squad returning home after being stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan in the early-2000s. Through a mashup of combat experiences and civilian struggles, readers come to know the squad members as they attempt to acclimate to life back on US soil. All the Ruined Men: Stories has received multiple professional starred reviews and is an Amazon Editors’ Pick.
