Event Type: Adult Program Age Group(s): Adult Date: 10/4/2022 Start Time: 6:00 PM End Time: 7:45 PM Description: Come join the York County Public Library to transport your bookshelf into a magical world by creating a spooky book nook. Book nooks are small dioramas that live among your novels on your shelf. During this two-part program series, you will construct a small book nook and decorate as spookily as your heart's desire.
Library: Tabb Library Map This is a two-part session. Registration is required and saves your place in both sessions. Registration opens September 27, 2022. Tuesday, October 4th: In the first session, you will plan and assemble the shell of your book nook. Materials will be provided to construct and stain/paint your book nook shell. Please bring in an old disposable t-shirt or rag to use if you wish to stain your book nook. Gloves will be provided. Tuesday, October 11th: In the second session, you will decorate your book nook. Though we will offer some small decorative materials, you will need to bring in your own materials if you have a specific design/set up in mind for your book nook.
