Stop by the Yorktown Library between 1 and 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, to meet local author and teacher Eve Pollard Lawrence. She is the author of books for children, including the My Friends picture book series, which was written with the hope of spreading awareness and promoting inclusion and acceptance for all students. She will be signing and selling books in the lobby near the Children's Wing.
