Maker Hours provide York County Public Library cardholders ages 18 and up interested in DIY, crafting, and making a chance to explore the Yorktown Library Makerspace tools and experiment with new ways of creating. The available equipment are three sewing machines, one laminator and one Cricut Maker 3. Equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The library does not guarantee the availability of equipment. Registration, along with a YCPL MakerSpace Use Agreement and Niche Academy training, are required. Maker Hours are available for self-serve use by intermediate and advanced users. Library staff will be available to provide basic information about the library’s resources.
