Babies from birth through 16 months and their parent/caregiver are invited to join us for guest speakers from the community and library during Summertime Baby Bookworms. We'll discuss a different topic each week and have activities that support the topic. Please bring a blanket for floor time. Weekly registration is required. Registration opens Monday of the prior week.

Our topic for July 14 is "Beyond the Delivery." Our guest speaker is Bee Darrow from the Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) FCS Family Focus Program. Bee conducts playgroups and parenting classes for families that have young children, and she will share some fun and educational activities with you and with your baby. VCE FCS Family Focus is an agency that provides educational opportunities, resource and referral information to any interested family in and around York County and James City County. In groups and classes, parents receive much-needed support in their everyday role of raising children, and children grow and learn together through play. Come learn about a special group for families and new babies.
