Malcolm X

2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Farr Regional Library - Greeley

Event Details

A controversial and sometimes divisive figure, Malcolm X's drive to understand the human condition led him on an extensive journey to question and examine his own biases and views. In partnership with Colorado Humanities and the City of Greeley, HPLD is excited to offer renowned Chautauqua scholar Charles Everett Pace as Malcolm X. As part of the Black history Live tour of 2018, Pace's portrayal of Malcolm X imparts how marginal outsiders can become influential insiders. Participants will have an opportunity to chat with Malcolm X and Charles Everett Pace. This program is sponsored by Aims Community College and will be held at Aims Cornerstone Conference Center, 5401 W 20th Street, Greeley.
