DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:The goals of this twice-a-week, eight-week course are to teach students computer skills, office tools, and the web, while introducing enough concepts so future learning can be self-taught. This "real introduction to computers" is a compressed course, designed to reinforce learning and is intended for the serious, committed student, who is able to attend all sessions. The targeted audience is "working people" who wish to add computer skills to their existing work skills and those who are unemployed, under-employed, or retired. Classes will be light on lecture and heavy on "hands-on." We hope to accommodate more learners in this series, so bring your laptop with a fully-charged battery to class.
