Teen Book Club

We will discuss 'So B. It' by Sarah Weeks, and pass out 'Ship Breaker' by Paolo Bacigalupi. Snacks provided. Time for games and/or crafts is built in.

Summer Reading Program Volunteer Training

When: Thursday, May 23, 2013 - 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Where: Saddlebrook Branch (402.884.7473) at Children's Classroom

Gain real world skills, help your community, and have fun while you're at it! Seeking 5th-6th graders for shelving and as craft program helpers, 7th-12th graders to help with Summer Reading Program sign-up and awarding prizes. Adults are also needed! Three training times are available:
- Thursday, May 23 at 6:30pm
- Friday, May 24 at 3:30pm
- Saturday, May 25 at 1pm
Registration requested. A parental permission form is required for volunteering.

Get Crafty

Where: Millard Branch (402.444.4848) at East Meeting Room

Get together with fellow crafters on the 4th Saturday of every month for a creativity blast! Bring your own projects and work on knitting, crocheting, embroidery, scrapbooking, writing, or whatever you enjoy crafting. Show off your finished projects and check out what other people are doing. Join us in a social atmosphere to craft, chat, and get inspired.

Minecraft Competition

When: Tuesday, July 16, 2013 - 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Where: Millard Branch (402.444.4848)

The goal of the Minecraft competition is to see who can build the biggest structure and most detailed buildings as you start from scratch, and how you do in the survival games. Before the program you will need to purchase the premium $30 edition. If you have a laptop computer you can use it for the competition. Prizes for the winners.
