Zombie Makeup & Survival Tips

Meet local author Laura Hansen as she reads excerpts from 'Cruise of the Undead,’ and discuss survival tips for the zombie apocalypse. Also, learn expert zombie makeup tips from effects artist Kari Fry. Gross treats will be served to either please or disgust your senses!

Personal Color Analysis

Cartooning and Comic Drawing

Zombie Makeup Workshop

Learn expert zombie makeup tips this summer! Local makeup and effects artist Kari Fry will teach you how to blend, shade and contour until you look truly undead.

Tunnel Book Workshop

When: Saturday, July 13, 2013 - 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Where: Florence Branch (402.444.5299) at Meeting Room

Book artist Marvel Maring will lead a hands-on workshop in how to create a tunnel book, a structure that originated in the Renaissance as a way to teach perspective. Rather than turning a page, you peer "through" the book which consists of a series of "pages" that are linked. Participants are encouraged to come with a concept in mind to develop the book (a scene, a story, a landscape, etc.). Confidence using an X-Acto knife is a must! Registration required.
