Eastern Nebraska Community Active Partnership (ENCAP) will provide a government funded navigator for the State of Nebraska to provide information about the Affordable Care Act, also known as "Obamacare." The navigator will then help area residents apply for health insurance via the marketplace with written applications if participants wish. If you think that such a plan might be right for you, please pay attention to the following:Library: W. Dale Clark Main Library (402.444.4800)
The Marketplace offers different types of health plans to meet a variety of needs and budgets. The first step is to figure out how much you want to spend on health coverage each month.
Many people using the Marketplace will qualify to save money. To find out how much you’re eligible for when you apply, have the following handy:
• Social Security numbers (or document numbers for legal immigrants)
• Birth dates
• Pay stubs, W-2 forms, or “Wage and Tax Statements”
• Policy numbers for any current health insurance
• Information about any health insurance you or your family could get from your jobs
The Navigator from ENCAP will be roaming the library in January.
