Event Type: Adult Programs
Age Group(s): Adult, Seniors, Tweens
Date: 8/9/2014
Start Time: 2:00 PM
End Time: 3:00 PM
Learn how to save your tastiest garden delectables with this class! For instance: Tomatoes carry seed born disease and have a hard outer coating; fermentation breaks down the coating and protects against disease. Also: Peppers are very easy to save, but they cross rather readily. Class size limited due to hands-on activities. Class taught by John Pollack; his family has had heirloom seeds for generations.
