Join us as we celebrate the library’s 140th anniversary with an opening reception on Nov. 2, 4-6pm, Michael Phipps Gallery, W. Dale Clark Main Library. A large panel exhibit of OPL’s history and a Celebration Quilt designed for the anniversary will be on view. Special exhibits from the library’s collection of post cards, lantern slides, cuneiforms and government documents will be displayed as well as a historic scalp and TransMississippi photos. Library staff will be in costume and refreshments will be served.
