This special program is offered free as a follow-up to MD Tech Connect 2023. Alexandra Houff, Baltimore County Public Library will present a free webinar on the ACP. The ACP (Affordable Connectivity Program) is an important tool in the digital equity toolbox. The program, funded through 2024, covers $30 per month of qualified individuals' internet costs. Learn how the ACP works, best practices for outreach, and how to sign customers up for the program in this one-hour virtual session from BCPL's Manager of Digital Equity and Virtual Services.

Objectives:
Attendees will learn the basics of the ACP program, including qualifying programs and required documentation.
Attendees will understand how to leverage best practices such as QR codes, partner marketing, and co-located events.
Attendees will learn about agency partnerships, training opportunities and develop relationships with the FCC and USAC specifically for ACP outreach.
