This session will provide an overview of privacy issues relevant to librarians. We'll review best practices for protecting patron privacy, discuss emerging library technologies that pose privacy concerns, and briefly explore broader privacy issues in the news including government surveillance and online tracking. This session is heavy on discussion so please come prepared to participate and share your ideas.
