This book club was formed especially for seniors by Highmark PALS (People Able to Lend Support) in order to bring older adults together for a literary challenge and social interaction. Each club meets once a month, except in December. If you are eligible for Medicare, are interested in making new friends, and enjoy discussing new books contact your local library for more information. Copies of the books are limited. Coffee, tea and desserts provided by the Elk Valley Advisory Board. This month's books are The Scent of Rain and Lightning by Nancy Pickard and "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald.
