National Novel Writing Month Kickoff Party

Event Type: Teen
Date: 11/1/2012
Start Time: 7:00 PM
End Time: 8:00 PM
Ever thought about writing a novel? National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is just the challenge to make that happen! During the month of November, the goal is to write 50,000 words (about 175 pages) of a novel. The Dundee Library will have a kickoff party at the beginning of the month and an encouraging, final push meet-up at the end so you can meet with other people taking on this challenge. Bring your laptop, notebook, or preferred method of writing so you can swap ideas and challenge each other to word wars to drive that word count through the finish. At the end of the month you'll be able to say, "I have written a novel."
